Came in late. 12:30 am. Solo bartender, did not catch his name. Sat at a 2 top over the lobby. There was a group of 7 or 8 people at the bar. My wife ordered a espresso martini.( Hell yeah. ) The bartender left the bar to get fresh espresso. ( Awesome) during his 8 minute absence. One of the women from the 7 person group went behind the bar and continued to act like an entitled, spoiled jerk.( The nicest way I could describe her.) Continued to act and say she did nothing wrong. I got confrontational with the group said what should have been said. And left.

Stopped here for a beverage after the Bengals-Browns game. Marris was a great bartender who made fantastic cocktails. Absolutely love hotel bars. You should definitely stop by this one.

Maris was exceptional in her service to myself and my friends. She was very friendly and polite. She makes damn good cocktails and mocktails!!

Delicious cocktails made with care. The bartender gave great suggestions of drinks, which was incredibly helpful to figure out what this bar specialized in. The charcuterie was also delicious, so if you’re considering it, you should definitely go for it!

Brittany was amazing and she’s makes amazing drinks. This my first time here at the ledger and I never had a bartender that made consistently good drinks for me. I told her i wanted something fruity with vodka and every drink was 10/10 I’m coming back here just for her.

If i could rate this place 100 stars i would. Me and my best friend were in town for a show Friday night, traveling from Buffalo. We have never been to cleveland before, and when we were given a recommendation for a hotel bar to spend our night at, of course we were skeptical. But— oh my gosh. Michael the bartender literally is the friendliest, funniest, most down to earth person we could’ve ever asked to be served by. We loved him so much, we even made it a point to go BACK to the hotel the next night to spend the evening with him again. He made us feel so welcomed in the city! Even giving us a full list of spots he recommends ranging from food, to tourist spots, etc. I’ll remember him for a very long time! Thank you michael for an amazing time— I wouldn’t have had it any other way!! We hope to see you again! - Madi and Bart

Fabulous vibes! Micheal is an amazing bartender he made us feel so welcome and we had a great time!! After a negative experience at the restaurant bar downstairs it was a breath of fresh air.

Micheal is the best bartender. I told him the flavors I love and he made me the most excellent tequila concoction ever! Highly recommend!

Small, intimate bar overlooking the lobby of the Metropolitan hotel. Patrons ranged from fairly casual to more formal, so it could be a fit for any occasion really. Bartender was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and insisted on making our cocktails off-menu based on our preferences - I’m not entirely sure if they even have a cocktail menu. We shared a few appetizers/small-plates which were excellent. The food comes from Adega, however, the full-service restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. Definitely recommend a visit whether or not you are staying at the hotel.

My wife and I visit every time we’re downtown to see Michael (other servers are fantastic as well), and it’s always fantastic. Absolutely cannot beat this place - phenomenal cocktails and great atmosphere. Just give them a general direction of what you’re looking for, and enjoy the best drink in town.
